The Northern Lights

The Northern Lights

This is one of the most infamous attractions in Iceland. The best season to see them is from September to April. We purposefully decided to go in April in hopes of being able to see them. They are the most elusive and unpredictable sights in Iceland and require a great deal of darkness.

Mjóifjördur

Mjóifjördur

This fjord is home to smallest village in Iceland with only 35 inhabitants. Much of Iceland is composed of small towns and villages. We get to experience the culture first hand and interact with locals.

Reykjavik, Iceland

Reykjavik, Iceland

It is a popular tourist attraction and the world's most northern capital. The colourful rooftops of the city are striking and this place holds much culture. I would love to explore the streets, learn how the people operate and just observe their way of live. The differences and similarities are beautiful

The Great Geysir

The Great Geysir

Geyser's are periodically sprouting hot springs that can erupt every 4-8 minutes. They are located in geothermal areas within the zone of active rifting and volcanism. This is a phenomenon someone can only truly appreciate in person.

East Fjords

East Fjords

This is the type of scenery that can take your breath away. Fjords are vivid, yet often overlooked by tourists. They are overflowing with history of the country and some fjords remain uninhabited or are home to small villages.
