WHO AM I
My name is Chelsea Janisse and I am in my fourth year of Health Sciences at Western University. The last time I was able to truly travel was the summer of 2012 when I vacationed Europe and the Greek Isles. It has been a long time since that taste of adventure I experienced with my mom, Nana, and aunt. I never realized how fortunate I was to be able to enjoy such incredibly scenery and culture on that trip until the previous assignment for this Geography of Tourism class. Now, after nearly four years of working hard in London and Tecumseh, I am itching at the chance to travel again, this time on my own terms.
It wasn't until this year that I discovered my undeniable thirst for travel. There is so much more to the world than Southwestern Ontario; so much culture, beauty, unique people, and knowledge that I have yet to uncover.

WHO AM I TRAVELLING WITH
I am travelling with 3 of my best friends, Katya, Jaime, and Josee. We decided on Iceland primarily because of the cheap cost of flights and the ability to travel within low budget. Not only will we get to explore a completely foreign place to all of us, but also somewhere that is unique and unexpected. All 4 of us have worked hard to save money for this trip, including working 2 jobs during the summer and while in school.
My friend Katya just finished a semester abroad in Prague and also backpacked Europe with her brother the previous summer with no itinerary and a one way ticket. Her extensive travel experience will prove to be especially beneficial to the rest of us. Jaime and her family camp often and spend a great deal of time outdoors. Since our only form of accomodation for 10 days will be camping it will be amazing having Jaime as a guide for that aspect.
What is most important to me about my travel company is that we will all be experiencing a country that is so breathtaking for the first time together, with the hopes of creating memories to last a lifetime.
